Feedback for participants
Once the customer survey has ended, it is advisable to contact the survey participants (your customers) again in writing.
If you have run a prize draw as part of the customer survey, you could, for example, publish the results – provided, of course, that you comply with data protection requirements. In any case, you should thank participants for taking part in the survey. This helps to build trust.
Once you have analysed the results and identified actions, communicate these to your customers as well – for example, in a follow-up email. This shows your customers that you take their views seriously and that they can make a difference and bring about change.
Tip: As a rule, you will want your customers to participate in future customer surveys. Thanking them for taking part is therefore essential. Do so in a follow-up email.
If you contact your customers only once to invite them to the customer survey and they never hear from you again afterwards, they may feel that they have not been taken seriously and may regret the effort they made. This can damage your brand and image. Transparent, timely communication requires little effort but is all the more worthwhile and beneficial. When sending invitations via the LamaPoll survey tool, you can also contact people by target group segment – depending, for example, on whether they completed the survey, did not complete it, or started but abandoned it.
