An online questionnaire is not a lifeless sheet of paper – LamaPoll surveys are dynamic.
Questionnaire dynamics means that LamaPoll can reuse and display responses, hide or show questions and pages, and direct respondents to specific pages or skip them.
Your online questionnaire adapts individually to each respondent.
You can combine individual dynamic features—or all of them—in your online survey to create tailored response paths. Each respondent sees a questionnaire uniquely adapted to their answers or profile and tailored specifically to them.

What is piping and how do I use it?
Piping means inserting a respondent’s answer from one question into a follow-up question—as part of the question text, guidance or an answer option. For example, if you ask respondents about their favourite car brand at the beginning of your questionnaire, you can use placeholders to insert their answer later and incorporate it meaningfully into subsequent questions.
Piping can provide clarity and make the questionnaire easier to understand. Placeholders can also be used to address respondents personally within the questionnaire—even in anonymous surveys.

What is conditional visibility and how do I use it?
Conditional visibility allows you to show or hide questions, text, answer options or entire pages based on conditions you define. This lets you tailor surveys to each respondent and elegantly hide questions, answer options, text or pages that are not relevant to them.

What is skip logic and how do I use it?
LamaPoll can apply skip logic based on various conditions—for example, a respondent’s answers (if question 1 is answered “Yes”, go to page 4) or respondent attributes (if the respondent has the attribute “female”, continue with page 3). Respondents can also be screened out (Do you know our product? If the answer is no, skip to the end). This feature is particularly useful for guiding respondents along tailored response paths.
